Participation in “Greening the Economy in the Alpine Region”

We attended a conference on green technologies in the Alpine regions. In cooperation with the Municipality of Idrija we presented the planned Friendly to environment project. The main purpose of the project is to use different activities and games to direct children in development of nature-friendly habits. With children performing different nature-friendly, we will try to gradually change also the habits of their parents.

The main message of our lecture was, that strict penalties and laws are not always the best way to change unwanted behavioral patterns. Involvement of young people and thoughtful targeted activities and games, can also change our behavior.

The conference was also used, to establish first contacts with potential partners, especially local communities from the Alpine region.
